Beginners' Tiling Workshop

Whether your kitchen backsplash needs an update, you want to re-tile your bathroom, or pull up the hybrid flooring and lay a tiled floor, this workshop will teach the basics for your D-I-Y project.  Suitable for beginner D-I-Y women, handywoman Sam will lead us through a fun, completely interactive and hands-on day.  

• Learn about planning your layout, and design fundamentals to get a great look (& avoid common mistakes that ruin the finish)

• Uncover the rules about waterproofing, as well as when NOT to tile-it-yourself 

• Explore a wide range of tiling & grouting & removal tools, including power tools - all under the supportive supervision of an experienced instructor

• Practice fixing to a tile wall, cutting & shaping, laying tiles, grouting, caulking with silicone, and (time dependent) tile & grout removal/repair
