Service Details
Use this to book in the hours for your service, and pay your: * Booking Confirmation Fee * Materials Deposit (for job-specific materials, if agreed), OR * on request by She Bangs Refer to the policy for additional information about She Bangs Booking Terms. NOTE: There are often issues on-site (nothing is ever as simple as we think it will be!). If we hit the estimated/booked hours and the job isn't finished, it will be your choice about whether to continue until it's done (subject to availability). Conversely, if I complete it early, you can decide whether I finish up then or request me to do some other jobs for you. Either way you will only be invoiced for the hours spent (above any minimums).
Booking Policy
This is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit which is payable to confirm my visit for your handy service. Job cancellations will result in forfeiture of the fee. Changes will be accommodated when possible, but are not guaranteed. She Bangs Booking Terms Hiring me will be charged as set out on the website, and you will be invoiced for payment due within 3 days by direct deposit. Hands-off Handy Service: minimum 2 hours labour charge - includes call out fee, 30mins uncharged travel time, my time & skills, tools and equipment Do-It-Together!: minimum 3 hours labour charge - includes my labour, skills and time, instruction & insights into the jobs we do, all tools and equipment for us both, 30mins uncharged travel time. This is a hands-on service and you will be required to fully participate (not observing) with this option, otherwise the Hands-Off rate will apply! Any incurred parking fees (or fines as a result of following your directions) will be passed on to you. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) All material costs are borne by you. My time spent sourcing your specialist materials in advance, or material runs required after arrival on-site will be charged at the relevant hourly rate. 2) Please be aware you are paying for my time and these inclusions noted above. It is important to understand that I charge hourly, not per job. D-I-Y tends to deliver surprises and varies on every job site. Therefore it can take longer (or shorter) than anticipated. I will give you my best estimate of duration, but that's what it is - an estimate, not a total fixed price. Completion within the noted time estimate is not guaranteed. 3) Note that I am not a fully qualified or licensed tradesperson. I am a handywoman and I offer a D-I-Y support service. You are welcome and encouraged to enquire about my level of confidence and experience with your projects if you feel it has not been explicitly communicated to you, or you wish to seek clarification about my skills and expertise. Hiring She Bangs does not confer any guarantee of workmanship. Payment of the non-refundable Booking Confirmation Fee indicates understanding and acceptance of these Terms.
