She Bangs comes to you! Bring ToolSchool to your place in this personalised HomeSchool workshop. Learn to use power tools and build your D-I-Y confidence. Held over 3 hours in the comfort on your own home, you will receive a tailored 1-on-1 workshop covering: - the safe and proper use the most essential hand tools in D-I-Y + your choice of 3 power tools - learn the tips and tricks to accurately measure, mark, level & plumb, square & centre, plus uncover the world of fixings (which screw, plug, nail or adhesive to use) - practice fastening and techniques for loosening tight objects Once the basics are covered, let’s familiarise you with your 3 power tools, and get practicing. INCLUSIONS: Choose 3 power tools from 1. Drill & Hammer Drill & Impact Driver (all 3), 2. Circular Saw, 3. Oscillating Multitool, 4. Jigsaw, 5. Orbital/other Sander, 6. Angle Grinder, 7. Router, 8. Planer, 9. Reciprocating Saw 10. Nail gun - You’ll be provided your own HomeSchool workbook to keep - PPE Kit - All tools, materials & equipment for the 3 power tools selected OPTIONAL ADD-ONS 1) Can't get enough? Add an extra 90mins and choose an extra 3 power tools 2) Bring a Friend for more fun! (Maximum 2 persons per workshop) Or, choose to add an additional Skills workshop and make a day of it! Booking Policy
HomeSchool is a workshop held in your home. A non-refundable booking fee is payable online to confirm your workshop, and will be deducted off your balance. The balance is payable via invoice in advance of your workshop. The following are the T&C’s for booking a HomeSchool workshop. A Liability Waiver will be provided on the day and must be signed prior to starting the workshop. Please request a copy in advance if required. - 30mins travel time is included to reach your home. Additional time will be deducted from the workshop duration. The #SheCanVan is 2.1m high, and is ideally to be parked close by. - PPE (supplied) and closed toe shoes are mandatory. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty (nothing short/skimpy, or baggy). Hair must be be tied back. - A dedicated space to work safely and use power tools must be available. It must be 1) Undercover (or weather-protected) 2) Spacious enough for us & the tools 3) Uncluttered (clutter is unsafe as it presents tripping, falling and fire hazards) and 4) Have a stable table or saw horses for use. Inclusions: Receive a printed workbook, plus a PPE Kit containing safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask & nitrile gloves (as required). Please advise if you wear everyday glasses so the appropriate type of safety glasses can be provided. Skills Workshops are only available as an add-on to a HomeSchool workshop.
